Tommy Calloway

Thomas Calloway has been performing theater since he was 6 years old with 23 plays under his belt to date. He attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville and received a degree in Composition for the Theater: an independent major drawing from disciplines in music, theater and literature. While at UNCA he acted, directed and performed sound design duties in campus productions, as well as composing incidental and theatrical scores for several plays around the Asheville area. His degree culminated in his senior thesis entitled: Infinite Resignation, which he wrote, directed, and produced, while also performing the musical score. After completing his degree he teamed up with local writer/actor Jeremy Burgess in co writing, acting and performing sound design and musical duties for The Manor Daze: A Live Situational Comedy, a serial, which ran for two years. Recently he has been working with The Feral Chihuahuas sketch comedy troupe (A troupe he helped to found), writing, acting and again scoring music and creating sound designs for the comedy team. His most recent projects include producing local hip-hop artist Prophet Allah's latest album Perfect Timing, which was released last July, as well as continuing to perform and record with his own band Life on the Blue Dot.
