Katie Baker

Born in 1984, Katie Baker grew up selling homemade fruit juice and baked goods from the end of her driveway in Kernersville, North Carolina. Due to the climbing food prices she decided to go to college in hopes of expanding her skills. There, at UNC Wilmington, she found herself becoming a student of the theatrical arts, also acting in and directing original one-acts. In January 2008, after graduating, Katie moved to Asheville, pleasantly stumbled upon the Feral Chihuahuas, and to them mentioned her ties with A-list stars such as Oprah Winfrey and Bill Paxton (“Billy P” she calls him). The rest is history. Actually, the rest is yet to come. In the midst of this comedic summer, Katie is also studying massage therapy at The Center for Massage and Natural Health. After 6 months look for Katie whenever you need to feel better.
